Rating: Movie sucked donkey balls.
We popped this in expecting to laugh at some Jack Black antics. Instead we were treated to like 2 laughs the entire time. The movie starts off so slow with the first 1/4 of the movie being pretty much pointless. Jack's spanish accent gets tired, and some funny parts are when it seems he forgets his accent and acts like the Jack Black we all know and love.
Funny parts are basically pain gags, with Jack getting smack around or his partner doing something silly. Problem is they repeat those for pretty much the entire movie. At the end the "greatest fighter in the entire world" looks like a pansy. One of the knee kicks totally shows the wiff of Jack's head, but I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be funny or what.
Jack's transition to a "great" fighter also blows. He keeps losing all the way till the end matchup? Ok...yeah. Also, they make the desired girl a nun. Stoopid. Make her someone that loves one of the other wrestelers or something. At least then we could see funny shit when Jack tries to impress her. The end of the movie was pretty much forgetful, the only things we liked about the entire thing was the reoccuring song "I am what I am" that was Popeye'ish, and the "X" "O" part in the letter. Everything else will be forgotten by my selective memory by tomorrow.
