I just did a face to face interview with a company called ARI yesterday.  They flew me out, got me a rental car, and took 4 hours to interview with me.  This was after I got threw two interviews with a techie and the lead dude, NOT to mention that my good bud Bill Pierce actually recommended me for the job.

Turns out they were NOT interested.  And I'm baffled.  I have no idea why they would not like a person with my skills to take on the job.  I had already imagined scenarios in which I had done things to their company to capapult it to something spectacular.  In fact, I turned down an offer from my own company which was a sure thing because I was confident that everything would go the way I had envisioned.  Not so.

I almost feel like calling them up and saying, "Really?  Are you sure?  What happend?  What did I do wrong?"  For now though, off to other adventures.
