I've heard someplace that the only way a company can survive is to grow.  This is why small businesses eventually become big businesses.  The ones that don't get bigger, usually end up going away.

I'm taking the same aspect to our website meetandplay.com.  Right now, things are going great for our racquetball forum.  I've tried a few things, but nothing really has taken off like it.  After tackling a ranking system I want to try something else...outside of racquetball.

Jackie and I discussed it and we'd like to stay with what we know.  Mainly sports, and family stuff.  Jackie is actively involved with various family sites and even went and met other mommies at a local "playdate".  Bam, it hit us.  They actually DID just meet and play.  Why not add this to the site?  The actual domain itself doesn't restrict to just racquetball, there are many other areas where every day people "meet and play".

On the technical side, I would just need to clone the existing racquetball site and then put in different content for family stuff.  Take a look at the site: http://family.meetandplay.com/Forum/Default.aspx

I then figured, what the heck, lets do tennis too. So this site: http://tennis.meetandplay.com/Forum/Default.aspx was born.  It'd be almost identical to the original racquetball MNP and would finally start to fulfill my desire to branch into multiple sports.  Currently on the docket I have just about every sport you can think of.  Only time will tell if I can pull it off.
