Sure enough, we're again struggling to pay bills. And sure enough, we have plenty of businesses that owe us money. Thank goodness I have a job. A job that seems to be going somewhere. In fact, the longer I work here, the less time I have to do my own business stuff - but they're making me happy.
The latest change has been talk about me moving out to Huntington Beach, CA. The move would entail a 37% raise and I'd probably be out there a year or 2. Once I got back I'd retain the salary increase even with the lower cost of living out here in Colorado. It's not final but...
The problem is I want to create my own business. I know I could handle it, it's just the fact of getting customers. Wait...PAYING customers. Strike that one more time: customers that PAY, ON TIME. We have over $1,000 bucks that people owe us, and it just gets old trying to get the money from them.
Some of them are over 2 months late paying. It's wierd, but after awhile all the deliquent payers start to sound exactly the same after awhile. We do have late fees, but I think we need to get a lot stiffer on them.
