Maybe I'm just hopeful that I'll be able to code future web apps using tools like XUL and nifty extensions. Maybe I just can't get over how customized you can make the browser [Lets see: Easy Gestures, ForcastFox, Web Developer, auto copy, GoogleBar, last tab, CSS edit, ColorZilla, Link Preview, Dictionary Search, and a partridge in a pear tree]. Maybe it's the spyware that I just erased off of my machine due to past surfing through MSIE. I dunno.
Firefox is spreading though. I listen to a lot of talk radio at work and on the drive up and back. Sure enough a conversation about pop-ups came up and after a bit of rummaging one studio hand said to use FireFox. Dunno if the lady listening actually gave it a try, but I'm sure that a lot of people out there probably went through the motions to see what all the commotion was about. I know that MSIE has a huge lead, but I think they're putting their hands into too many cookie jars lately to go back to fighting in the browser wars.
