We've actually managed to wait till Christmas to open our presents this year.  Yeah, I suppose there are two more days, but I think we can do it.  I do actually know about some of my presents, but it will be great to open them and use them!  I also gave Jackie enough crap so that she wouldn't peek this year.  I'm pretty excited to give her her presents as she has absolutely no idea what's in them (in fact, I think I've almost forgotten...).

The past few years we really haven't had much money to spend on Christmas so this year it was a little gratifying to completely fill the area around the tree.  I mean this sucker is chock full with presents!  Yes, yes, it's not about materialism and I do appreciate our good fortune, but we've worked very hard this year.  It's just nice to be able to open more than one present.  We also didn't use any credit cards or go into debt, which is pretty nice.  (Of course, if I fall to my desires and get that projector I've been eyeing for downstairs...)

Ian probably won't get much (as in, tons of toys).  I don't think he really understands everything, and as long as he's tearing through something I think he'll have a great day.  It will also be great to have the entire family over to our house (we're hosting dinner) where they'll get to see him again.

Tommorrow is Christmas Eve.  We'll most likely be going to two different parties, eat a bit to get fatter and then come home to get ready for our big day the next day.
