People will tell you ViewState is OK if you use it sparingly. Even if you use it wisely you are not immune to MAC Validation Errors which mostly affect users with slow connections. Yes, there are still dial up folks out there. Your only option is to disable said validation but what are the real security implications of this? I stand by my post.
Dude! Tell me about it.. I've been having so many problems with eventvalidation and dialup users it's not funny! I thought I was the only one. Great security feature - improves security by ensuring that dialup users get errors.
