Revisited: Google Maps .Net Control

Many moons ago I got seized with the AJAX spirit.  I was doing it shortly after it became cool, but before everyone started using AJAX every other word.  You can read about my efforts on Codeproject (see links below).  Code isn't the prettiest and that was before I was baptized in TDD.  Shortly there after Google Maps hit the scene and I created an ASP.Net Server Control to wrap the Google Maps API.  Who knew more than 200,000 viewers would find it interesting?

Unfortunately I got side tracked with a new job and starting a family so I didn't not maintain the code or add new features like API v2 support.  Some enthusiastic readers have made additional contributions, but that is as far as it went.  I was recently contacted by Mr. Iain Sproat (not the retired British Conservative politician).  Iain was interested in reviving the Google Maps .Net Control so without further ado, please checkout the code and feel free to contribute by jumping over to Sourceforge.

Many thanks to Iain for keeping interest in this project alive.
