Is a lot of fun as well. I did have little pangs of guilt though when we walked past "A Bugs Life" area, and the "Buzz Lightyear" ride, Ian and Lexi's favorite areas. But oh well. lol
We went on the Screamin California Rollercoaster. That thing is so fun. We cheated and went to the front seats of the ride. I had been in the front before and I told Willie that the big difference is the slow down that everyone else feels when going up the hill isnt there. You get to the top you go down. Their is no lag time. Its just go go go. However I noticed that this time its a little slow on the other side until most of the cars behind you have cleared.
Then it was the Paradise Pier Blast off. Its a ride similiar to the Tower of Terror only your outside, and it Blasts you up. I honestly didn't think it was going to be that bad. However once we got to the top, its a straight down drop, and I about lost it lol. I just wasn't expecting it at all. It looks like a ride that is all about the propolsion (sp?) upwards, but that was really easy, and then the initial drop was like. . omg. lol
Then, it was Tower of Terror time. I'll tell you, it didn't really live up to its hype. It was "cool" in a sense of the special effects that were on the ride, and the scare factor was. . umph okay, but the falling down part could have been a lot more, and longer. It left me wanting. But was still fun. I have to say the key that ride has is the hype. "Tower of Terror". . who isn't going to be afraid :)
Then Space Mountain. I went on that ride as a kid, and I remember it being pitch black. Now they've added the lights and that sort of motion with the lights makes me really really quesy. I even told Willie that before when I inquired about what kind of ride Star Wars was. "Is it the kind of ride where you sit there and look at a screen while the "space ship" moves around?" I just can't do those kind of rides. So I didn't really enjoy that at all really.
Willie and I decided that we were done. Mostly the last ride kind of did me in. I seriously have issues with those rides lol. So we split up from his Brother and friend who were with us, and went walking on our own. I saw a coffee shop that smelt absolutely heavenly and decided I wanted some. Willie told me to go get in line and he'd be right back. I figured he had to go potty, and got in line. Glanced at the Menu, didn't like anything I saw and stood out side and waited for him. He took so long I got back in line, only to see him come through the door in a second. He looked at me perplexed, why wasn't I closer to the counter, and I told him I didn't really want anything here. So we left.
As we were walking out he showed me where he had been. He had bought my Christmas present. It was a really beautiful Mickey watch, that was white gold, and "diamond" Mickey's for the band, they alternate, and then it has Mickey on the face. Its really really pretty.
Willie told me its from the same store he bought his watch from like 10 years ago. Its kind of neat :)
Then we went to Downtown Disney and had a really good time there. We went to the Lego store. It was kind of neat to see all the figures they had put together with legos. We also went to this store that had famous things. Like Al Cappones hat, and his autograph and that sort of stuff. Al Cappone was the biggest seller there. His stuff was selling for 35K while Presidents were going for 4 lol.
We got some really yummy Caramel Kettle Corn, then found a really fancy restaurant and shared an appetizer. Then it was time to go :(. I had a really great time, and thanks to the Grandparents, a MUCH NEEDED night with Willie without the kids. It felt great! I kept feeling though, "you got the diaper bag? " feelings lol. It was really fun :)
