The stupid things break.. really easily. On the ends where they attach to your key chain. Both of mine broke. Its really frustrating. So they wouldn't attach to a keychain, they are now super easy to lose, so Willie had the bright idea . . which didn't seem too terribly stupid at the time lol, to drill a holl in the plastic and then we could thread it through a lasso or something. . well, he does this, we get to our car, and it wont start....Well,. . i look up the "bad sign" its giving me as we try to start it, and sure enough, he's drilled through the cars "immobilizer" The part of the key that tells the car its the key. So now the stupid thing wont start, and we have to buy new keys, probably have it towed to the dealership cause they'll need to reset the cars system, . . man what a nightmare lol. When I tried to have the keys fixed last time they told me it'd be 250. . . I can only imagine that reseting the car will make it even more expensive. . . anyone know a Volkswagon guy that owe's em a favor?? lol. . Going to try calling the insurance company and tell them a story lol...gotta be good though, I'll probably only get one shot :)
