Okay, this time I mean it!

We did finally find a place to stay. The problems that we were having earlier is yes,...we qualified for a 550K loan. But our house payments would have been around 3,300K a month!! YIKES. So, we looked into what kind of payments we would want. We wanted around a 2,000.00 payment. But we wanted our taxes impounded in that payment. So essentially, we needed a 1,500 payment that would allow for the 500 a month we would spend in taxes...

Then after looking at a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo for sale for 338K with a HOA of 450 and only one parking spot, if you wanted another it was an extra 20G's , we decided this isn't the market for us. We will still keep looking for the "DEAL OF THE CENTURY" but until then, we found a house to rent! Yes a HOUSE!! it's a 3.5 bedroom (one bedroom has a den off of it) 2.5 baths, washer and dryer room, living room with a fireplace, formal dinning room, breakfast nook, full kitchen, and a little enclosed patio for Ian. We hopefully (we're pending application at this point but the manager say's were a shoe in) will be moving in on the 15th of this next month (oct)...So, hopefully thats done!

Only thing to add to that is our current roommate Adam. We've told him that in order to live with us he'd have to pay rent. The whole thing in the beginning was maybe he'd join us in the Home buying search and be an "investor" and we'd use it as a rental etc after we're done. But he never got a job, and has spent his time here partying surfing and etc. So he asked us if he'd be able to stay with us, and I said yeah but you're paying. He said he'd get a crappy job and that might allow him to pay rent. But them he asked about his friend whose coming in january. I think I'm going to have to say no to that. I can only take so much. They're going to be living the single bachelor roomie lifestyle and I'm going to want to be more "family" ....after all I have a family...so we'll see.

On the kiddo front, Lexi is a beautiful baby girl. She just gets cuter and cuter every day!! At her late six month appointment she weighed in at 18.5 lbs, and was 26.6 inches long! Such a sweetie pie!! Ian is getting more and more handsome every day. He has almost around 10 words he can say. He's also recently started counting to three. He gets this from our trips to the pool where we'll say 1,2,3 jump. The kid isn't afraid of jumping into the water, its amazing. They both amaze me!

We're still working on the unveiling of our more "grass roots" focused website. Willies been working on it a lot and I'm hoping that it'll be done in October. That'd be a good thing!! But now we're thinking about our move. We are headed out to CO the end of this month to move all our stuff out. Hopefully we can get kathy a few roommates so we dont have to continue paying the mortgage there...we'll see.

J
